Getting Started

First Time Setup

1. Download and Install: Get Penny Keeper from the App Store
2. Add Your First Child: Tap the “+” button to add a child’s profile
3. Set Initial Balance: Enter your child’s current allowance amount
4. Choose Currency: Select your preferred currency from the settings
5. Select Language: The app supports multiple languages including English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, and French

Basic Navigation

• Home Tab: View all children and their current balances
• History Tab: See all transaction records
• Settings Tab: Customize app preferences and manage data

Core Features

Managing Children

• Add Child: Tap “+” to create a new child profile
• Edit Child: Tap on a child’s name to modify their information
• Delete Child: Swipe left on a child’s card and tap delete

Recording Transactions

Adding Rewards

1. Select a child from the home screen
2. Tap “Add Reward”
3. Enter the amount and reason
4. Tap “Save” to record the transaction

Adding Punishments

1. Select a child from the home screen
2. Tap “Add Punishment”
3. Enter the amount and reason
4. Tap “Save” to deduct from their balance

Transaction History

• View all transactions in chronological order
• Filter by child or transaction type
• See detailed information including date, amount, and reason

Settings & Customization

• Currency: Change display currency
• Language: Switch between supported languages
• Data Management: Export or reset data
